María has an M.A. in Psychology from UVa (1987) and earned an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health from Divine Mercy University in 2019. She has been married to Alex for over thirty years and is a mom to five adults and grandma to three young children. She enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and Stott Pilates.
